A second meeting is arranged to present the customer with a drawing of the proposed design. A technical drawing by nature, it is a scaled representation of the finished piece. This drawing has taken into account any potential construction difficulties, and will be used by the craftsmen to work from. All critical dimensions, timbers, and finishes are outlined.
An official quote is presented and expected date of completion specified. The client approves this drawing before production begins, enabling him or her to examine and discuss any ideas that are unclear. A 50% part payment is required prior to the commencement of construction.
