Briefing and Discussion

The most crucial of all stages.

Our designers would first meet with the customer to discuss their ideas,  A portfolio of previous work is presented and discussed. Working with you, our designers then produce sketches, covering each and every detail until all aspects of the commission have been decided. A range of timber samples and finishes are presented for consideration.

Often this stage is carried out at the customer's residence to allow the designers to get a feel for the environment in which the piece will eventually be located, and to take any critical measurements. In some cases we collaborate with both the client and an architect or interior designer during the commissioning process.
